When we think of old companies, we usually imagine confined, dark and impersonal spaces that contributed little to the well-being of workers.

However, modern companies increasingly recognise the importance of image to motivate employees and attract customers. Pleasant environments increase worker productivity and the organisation of the space reflects the company’s reputation.

We, as an architecture and interior design studio, are aware of the importance of the image of the work environment to motivate employees and attract clients. For this reason, we have developed projects that value this perspective. With this, we have achieved surprising and gratifying results both for employees and for the companies’ reputation.

We present the interior design of the Pavimetal office in Viseu, which was designed with extreme sophistication. Every detail of the company was carefully designed by our studio.

The Reception

The entrance to Pavimetal is pleasant and welcoming, with well thought out wood and lighting. The abstract canvas and colourful flowers bring the reception to life.

Waiting area

The reception waiting area features an elegant mustard yellow armchair, supported by a table with a combination of marble and wood and a lamp that adds personality. An area designed with guests’ comfort in mind.

The sideboard inspired the project

The sideboard in the meeting room was inspired by the company’s logo, highlighting the “M” of Pavimetal. The use of the combination of wood and marble is a constant in the project.

Meeting room table

The meeting room has a specially designed table and chairs with straw backrest and olive green upholstery, reminiscent of the style of the Mad Men series. The space is luxurious and refined, with wood, marble, velvet and gold.

The details are fundamental

Decorative objects are essential to add character and texture to spaces.

Coffee and tea area

Coffee and tea area available in the second sideboard for meeting room clients. This makes clients feel more comfortable and welcomed.

Secretary

In this private workspace, the desk has a similar design to the meeting table, reinforcing the cohesion of the project. The combination of wood and lighting creates a cosy atmosphere, with slats of different thicknesses adding dynamism.
