We present the (partial) renovation of a mountain house used as a primary residence. This is definitely the type of house that inspires serenity, freshness, and a certain abstraction. We carried out extensive interventions in all areas, from demolitions to new installations, including the study of lighting and coverings.

The house features its own style, classic and light, perfectly adapted to current aesthetic and comfort standards. The intervention began with a 3D project, allowing the team to focus on every detail and accurately convey the creative vision to the space. The decision was made to add a new bathroom and remodel the existing one.

The kitchen: after

We start in the kitchen, which will undoubtedly be the heart of the home and the stage for family life.

Carefully planned, the kitchen features a central island for food preparation and casual dining, with an elegant light green tone accented by golden handles.

The white countertop contrasts with touches of black, adding personality. Despite the classic style, there are industrial influences, such as the glass divider reminiscent of New York loft windows.

The lighting highlights the warm and inviting atmosphere of the kitchen.

The kitchen: before

In the photo, the kitchen prior to intervention: a dark, non-functional, and uninviting space. The transformation was so profound that the kitchen is now unrecognizable.

Bathroom: the classic black and white

The bathrooms in the house were renovated, including the addition of a new one.

The first bathroom features a combination of black and white, with a textured wall in the form of a braid and black fixtures to create contrast. The lighting comes from a ceiling lamp above the sink.

Simple details, like black handles instead of stainless steel, make a difference. Rolled towels and a plant complete the space.

Bathroom II – the forest green

The second bathroom follows the style of the previous one, but with different colors and patterns on the floor tiles. The use of green as the main color is a highlight, giving a unique personality to the space.

BATHROOM III – GOLD OVER BLUE

The third bathroom is the largest and most comprehensive. The fish scale pattern tiles, the boiserie on the drawers, and the golden accents define its unique style. The shower is enclosed with clear glass, just like in the other bathrooms, to enhance the sense of space.

Living Room

The living room and kitchen are connected by a glass partition, creating an organized open space that prevents the spread of odors. The partition also retains the heat from the fireplace and provides privacy for both areas.

The decor combines modern pieces, and a rustic touch is added through the floral-patterned cushions.

Entrance Hall and Corridor

We conclude with the entrance hall of the house.

When considering renovating your home, the idea often arises that you can do it all yourself, rather than hiring a professional, such as an interior architect or decorator. However, it is common for those who take this approach to end up regretting it, as the task can be more complex and demanding than initially thought.

In addition to the exhausting work that a remodeling project involves, those who decide to do it all themselves still face inexperience and lack of vision, which can lead to extra costs and accumulated frustration.

In this project, we were responsible for refurbishing the interiors of a 1980s house in a village. The house was outdated, in poor conservation conditions and not very welcoming. Therefore, we decided to do a thorough renovation, favouring noble materials and vibrant colours to create a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere in the house.

The entrance hall

It is possible to appreciate the simplicity, beauty and intrinsic quality of each element present in the entrance hall of the house. The choice of colour of the “balloon dog” and the warmth of the wood create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, welcoming all who enter the hou

Dining and living room

Our goal was to make the house welcoming, cheerful and elegant. In the formal living area, we opted for a neutral palette in shades of white and beige, with hints of red in the chairs and curtains. This colour combination created a cohesive space, bringing life and energy to the social area of the house.

The dining table is an example of the quality and nobility of the materials used in the project, allied to an excellent design.

Room 1

The rooms were designed with a sober modern line, with elegant and simple furniture, but with colour details that make them even more beautiful. In the double bedroom, a delicate floral pattern is responsible for creating this effect.

Room 2

In the single bedroom, simplicity is the main feature, but personality is added by the orange accents and the discreet, but very evident, furniture design.

Room 3

In this double bedroom, the standout shades are velvety dark blue and pale pink with gold details.

This is a luxurious and exquisite room, which features a dream dressing room that we show you below.
